Delta Goodrem has hit the #1 spot on the ARIA Top 50 album charts today with her new album 'Mistaken Identity', scoring phenomenal three times Platinum sales with her chart-topping debut!! Knocking Robbie Williams' 'Greatest Hits' out of pole position, 'Mistaken Identity' now takes the crown title of Delta's 8th consecutive chart-topping release - a huge feat for any artist in the music world!

Currently in New Zealand promoting the release of 'Mistaken Identity', Delta was ecstatic on receiving the news of the album's chart result and sent out a huge thanks to her fans.

Featuring the single 'Out of the Blue' (which held the #1spot on the singles chart for three weeks straight), 'Mistaken Identity' is the follow-up album to Delta's highly successful debut album, 'Innocent Eyes', which has sold over 2.3 million albums worldwide.

In overseas news, 'Out of the Blue' has debuted at #9 on the UK Charts, making for Delta's third Top 10 UK single. 'Mistaken Identity' hits stores there on Monday November 22.
