Delta Goodrem has confirmed she will be attending and performing at this year's ARIA Awards, to be held on Sunday October 17 at the Sydney Superdome! Currently in the US, Delta says she's thrilled to be coming home and performing at the event.
Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem has confirmed she will be attending and performing at this year's ARIA Awards, to be held on Sunday October 17 at Superdome, Homebush.
Delta, who is currently working on her second album in LA, said "I'm so thrilled that I am finally able to confirm my attendance and even more exciting, my performance for this years Aria Awards. My album is nearly finished (I hope!) and I am very much looking forward to coming home and being able to share it with everyone".
Mark Pope, Event Producer of the Aria Awards said "ARIA is thrilled to be able to announce Delta Goodrem as the final confirmed performer at this years Aria Awards. Delta is one of Australia's most successful artists ever, and after last year's 'unfinished business', we are delighted she has accepted our invitation to perform."
Delta's brand new single 'Out Of The Blue' went to radio at 7.45am on Friday September 24 to stations around Australia. The single, which was co-written by Delta Goodrem and Guy Chambers is the first single to be lifted from her as-yet-untitled album due out later this year.

The video for 'Out of the Blue' was directed by Nigel Dick (Ricky Martin, Oasis, NSYNC, Cher) and filmed in Malibu and the surrounding hills outside of LA over two days last month.
Delta, who worked closely with Nigel on the treatment for the video said, "The video was an awesome experience and I enjoyed every second of it - I hope everyone else loves it as much as I do."
Delta will return home to Australia next month for her performance at the Aria Awards and to promote her forthcoming album.
